The race will be here before you know it! Make sure you follow our blog leading up to the race – we’ll be posting training tips and course-insider knowledge tips. Additionally, sign up for our e-newsletter if you haven’t already.

A huge thanks to our lead sponsor, Running Warehouse

We want to extend a huge thanks to Running Warehouse, which is the title sponsor of the City to the Sea race. If you haven’t visited the physical store, they’re located on 181 Suburban Road in San Luis Obispo. Make sure you drop by their store to stock up on all of the running gear you’ll need to help you train comfortably over the next months. Running Warehouse has a huge selection of running shoes, as well as all of the running clothes and accessories that you could ever need. If you can’t make it to their store, you can shop online – they have an amazing online selection!

The 21st Annual Race is a benefit for Cuesta College Athletics

The City to the Sea race, for the past 21 years, has been organized to benefit the Cuesta College track and field and cross-country running teams. The race is one of the main financial backers of the Cuesta College running athletes, and it helps pay for their coaching, races, and training. When you run, they can too!

In November of 2014, the San Luis Obispo County voters passed Measure L, which is a bond that will help improve facilities at Cuesta College. We want to thank all of you who voted in support of this measure. It will help support the student athletes at Cuesta, and it will go to improve the educational and sports facilities on the campus.
